Maria has traveled for many years with her family, presenting concerts throughout the U.S., glorifying God, and encouraging Believers. Marty serves as Sound Engineer for their ministry, and Marty and Maria also sing together on occasion. Maria has had the privilege of singing a duet with Dove and Grammy award winner, Larnell Harris, in concert. Duet performed was “I’ve Just Seen Jesus.” She has presented concerts for many churches, Christian Schools and Ladies Seminars. She also specializes in leading “Praise and Worship,” lifting up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, her Savior, through the ministry of song, drawing the hearts and minds of those in attendance to the Throne of Grace. Marty and Maria have both “walked through the valley of the shadow of death,” with severe health problems, and have been miraculously touched by the hand of God, only to renew their plans for bringing glory to God and edification to His people in song, and spreading the Gospel and the love of Christ to all the Lord brings across their path. The Bennett’s are currently launching a new and exciting ministry endeavor that has the potential to reach literally millions with the Gospel of Christ. Maria has written and recorded the CD single: “The Original Route 66,” which was released to the public on May 16, 2006 via WRMB, 89.3 FM based in Boynton Beach, FL. The CD single is a tie-in to an entire ministry concept. Most have heard about the famous, historic highway, “Route 66.” The Original Route 66 Maria has written and sings about is referring to The 66 books of God’s Holy Bible - the true “Freeway of Love,” and the REAL “Highway to Heaven!” Within the pages of “The Original Route 66,” we learn that there is only ONE WAY to an eternity in Heaven. Not only does The Original Route 66 give us directions on how to be saved from life’s wrong paths, but it is also the “road map” for how God’s children can live our lives victoriously here on earth. To stay on course, we must YIELD to Jesus and His Word, “Cruisin’ Daily” within its awesome pages of truth.
